Job summary

Bechtel Infrastructure & Power seeks a Senior Quality Engineer (Electrical) for the Cheyenne Power Hub. You will oversee electrical/I&C quality, provide leadership, and mentor staff while guiding QA across project phases. Some travel and relocation to Cheyenne are involved.

Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will support preconstruction planning from home office or single-status, then mobilize to site. Strong QA auditing, RCA, and safety-focused teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Instrumentation background with extensive quality experience across HV/MV/LV and I&C systems.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA) required, with experience in QA auditing.
• Ability to read drawings/schematics; strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and startup.
• Willingness to perform field inspections with PPE and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support and verify implementation of PQP, Project QMS, and quality procedures for electrical/I&C areas.
• Verify materials, workmanship, and code compliance; monitor implementation timelines.
• Identify quality concerns and drive corrective actions to closure in CLCA; lead RCA.
• Develop project-specific quality metrics and lead training to foster a quality and safety culture.
• Plan and document internal/external audits and represent the project during audits.
