Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Startup I&C Lead for the Cheyenne, WY project to drive commissioning and startup of I&C systems. You will lead CSU activities, coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams, and ensure safe, reliable handover of systems to operations.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience on large-scale power projects, strong leadership, and CSU process expertise. Position involves long-term assignment in Cheyenne with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale power projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning and CSU procedures.
• Familiarity with DCS, turbine controls, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project estimate preparation.
• Coordinate startup activities with management and client.
• Prepare portions of operations manuals.
• Plan scope through procedures, schedules and budgets.
• Set up progress reporting and drive corrective actions.
• Develop plans and criteria for discipline activities.
• Interpret regulations and standards relevant to I&C.
• Supervise engineers and allocate work to meet dates.
• Provide technical guidance on assignments.
• Prepare system test procedures and turnover docs.
• Support training materials for client personnel.
