Job summary

ISC Constructors seeks a Quality Inspector in Garyville, LA to monitor QA/QC across electrical systems. The role requires auditing, documentation and coordination with cross-functional teams on major industrial projects.

Applicants should have 10+ years in electrical work and 6+ years QA/QC in fabrication, testing, and installation, with NCCER assessment or an electrical journeyman license. Per-diem available and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass post-offer drug/alcohol test and background checks.
• Technical knowledge across engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection and testing.
• Knowledge of electrical install and testing industry codes and standards.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for QA/QC documentation.
• Ten years of electrical work experience and six years QA/QC in fabrication/testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned audits and surveillance to ensure project requirements.
• Audit subcontractors and suppliers as required.
• Monitor the Quality Management System and its effectiveness.
• Record quality issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Turnover complete quality control packages on schedule.
• Collaborate with management and customers on quality issues.
• Lead quality meetings and ensure OSHA electrical rules are followed.
