Job summary

GoldenWolf seeks an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Engineer to support repair, renovation, and modernization projects at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). This onsite role covers electrical QA, field inspections, and documentation across life-safety and power distribution upgrades.

Required expertise includes 10+ years in electrical construction, USACE inspection methods, and the ability to obtain CAC clearance.

Qualifications

Licensed professional electrical engineer (PE) OR licensed master electrical contractor.
Minimum 10 years of electrical construction, renovation, or modernization experience.
Experience with electrical distribution systems, power systems, or facility infrastructure.
Experience utilizing the USACE Three-Phase Inspection Process.
Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 requirements.
Ability to obtain CAC credentials and federal background clearance.
Ability to work on active construction sites and healthcare campuses.

Responsibilities

Review electrical submittals, shop drawings, technical data, and contractor documentation.
Evaluate contractor compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and federal requirements.
Review RFIs, RFCs, schedules, deficiency reports, and corrective action plans.
Provide technical recommendations to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Verify constructability, phasing, life safety, and quality control compliance.
