Bodwé Group Companies is recruiting an Electrical Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional to support the electrical portions of repair, renovation, and modernization projects at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role focuses on inspecting and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications, including rigorous on-site QC activities.

The candidate will bring 10+ years of field experience, PE or Master Electrical Contractor licensure, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Master Electrical Contractor with 10+ years of field experience in construction/renovation/modernization mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Three-Phase process.
• Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical plans and specs during design and construction for contract compliance and technical correctness.
• Evaluate submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs; provide written comments and recommended responses to COR.
• Interpret drawings to assess electrical construction methods meet contract requirements.
• Perform on-site surveillance of electrical construction activities and monitor testing.
