Job summary

Collins Electrical Construction Co. seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee marketing, estimating, project administration, and planning for medium-sized electrical construction projects in the Twin Cities area.

You will direct field crews, manage budgets, procure materials, prepare documentation, and collaborate with engineers and estimators throughout bidding and construction phases. A minimum of 5 years' PM experience on electrical projects is required, with a degree

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects (Required).
• Ability to interpret design/build requirements and analyze contract scopes and construction documents.
• Strong proficiency in planning, manpower allocation, leadership, and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with field crews, clients, inspectors, and leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities for future projects.
• Direct and supervise service technicians, foremen, and field crews to ensure contract and policy compliance.
• Manage project budgets, material procurement, and labor allocations to maximize profitability.
• Prepare, process, and maintain all project documentation including schedules, reports, change orders, and progress billings.
• Direct project planning through purchasing, design, subletting, and final installations.
• Collaborate with internal teams during bidding and pre-construction as needed.
