Job summary

Welsbach Electric is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical construction and maintenance projects from turnover through closeout. Based in College Point, NY, this role coordinates scope, schedule, budget, documentation, procurement, field support, and client communication.

It serves as a key link among field operations, estimating, purchasing, accounting, subcontractors, vendors, owners, agencies, and leadership to ensure safe, profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of construction project management experience required; electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project controls software.
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout the New York City area as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction and maintenance projects from estimating turnover through final closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, procurement needs, subcontractor requirements, delivery dates, manpower coordination, and closeout activities.
• Lead project coordination with owners, agencies, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, vendors, foremen, field leadership, estimating, engineering, purchasing, accounting, and executive management.
• Monitor project cost, committed costs, labor productivity, cost-to-complete, budget performance, profitability, billing status, outstanding balances, and cash-flow related items.
