Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-time Cx Project Manager (Electrical) for our New York office. You will oversee electrical commissioning activities, prepare deliverables and coordinate with owners, managers and design professionals to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of post‑education experience, a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of test equipment, 480V systems, and relevant standards. Travel occasionally, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in building and systems commissioning.
• Working knowledge of MEP building systems and electrical testing.
• Experience with 480-Volt systems and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with 5kV–26kV systems and protection relays preferred.
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Deltek Vision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic deliverables including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Evaluate guidelines, code compliance requirements and industry standards.
• Examine field conditions to support project development.
• Assist in commissioning specifications and basis of design documents.
• Assist in developing proposals and responses to RFPs for commissioning projects.
• Attend meetings with owners, managers, and stakeholders.
• Represent the company professionally to clients and vendors.
• Mentor junior firm members and contribute to training.
• Stay updated through education and certifications.
• Occasional interstate travel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
