This role emphasizes budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical contracting, strong NEC knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Electrical Project Manager, or Lead Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), electrical systems, and commercial construction practices.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and multi-site projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects (preconstruction, estimating, execution, closeout).
• Oversee multiple projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, quality control, and jobsite safety.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates, manpower plans, and execution strategies.
• Lead project teams including project managers, superintendents, foremen, and electricians.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor agreements.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documents.
• Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Prepare and approve pay applications, billing, and closeout documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide executive-level updates.
