Job summary

Citrine LLC, based near Denver, is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical projects from planning through closeout. The role emphasizes strong electrical engineering expertise, client relationship management, and cross-functional leadership within a hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in electrical engineering consulting, power systems experience, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading electrical engineering projects, preferably design and construction.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong understanding of power systems, distribution, and design processes.
• Experience managing project financials and client relationships.
• Ability to travel to client sites and offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership across electrical engineering projects from planning to closeout.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and project teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Review engineering work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and execute study, design, and construction support packages.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate staffing and scheduling.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and construction teams to resolve field issues.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development, proposals, and client presentations.
