Job summary

McGraw Kokosing seeks an experienced Project Engineer/Manager for large-scale industrial construction projects in Middletown, OH. You will lead project engineering, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management and safety compliance from pre-construction through project closeout.

Requirements include 6+ years in construction project roles and a degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, with IBEW experience a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project engineer/manager experience in construction.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience with IBEW is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel; planning, estimating, procurement, design review, project controls.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with requirements and support construction schedule.
• Develop timely project cost estimates or bids using self-perform labor.
• Prepare contract documents to obtain quotes for materials and equipment.
• Interface with departments on budgeting, staffing, scheduling and related activities.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals.
• Convert successful estimates into projects.
• Monitor assignments to ensure services are performed as specified.
• Conduct field visits and spot checks of work.
• Ensure compliance with county, state and OSHA policies.
• Participate in staffing plans, cost code creation, budget preparation, and business planning.
