Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our engineering team in Goodyear, AZ. You will support the Project Manager and project participants, ensuring electrical aspects meet technical accuracy and project goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Preconstruction Group, maintaining electrical documentation in Procore, and coordinating field testing and commissioning. The role demands experience in electrical construction, CAD proficiency, and strong analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of electrical construction experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and pipe stress analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Engineering & Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager and project participants to create efficient project methods and maintain profitability; ensure NEC, NFPA, and other electrical codes are met.
• Document & Quality Control: Maintain electrical documentation including schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules; organize change orders and closeout documentation in Procore.
• Field Operations & Verification: Coordinate electrical testing, verification, and commissioning with Superintendent; collect and prepare data for submittals.
• Procurement & Materials Management: Perform electrical take-offs, prepare purchase requisitions, monitor delivery; support development of estimates and schedules.
• Safety & Compliance: Assist in developing Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans; ensure OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.
