Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• Four years of progressively responsible electrical engineering experience.
• EI, EIT, or FE exam completion preferred; PE license preferred.
• Alaska driver’s license within 90 days of hire and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of projects related to long-range engineering plans, construction work plans, protection studies, material specifications, and engineering procedures.
• Direct and/or facilitate all phases of project development and execution: planning, procurement, construction, startup, and contract administration; manage lifecycle to meet schedule and budget.
• Provide project management and engineering support to multiple departments.
• Develop and modify construction plans and budgets to support transmission, generation, distribution, and support facility work.
