Kone Cranes in Milwaukee seeks a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to lead electrical/software efforts on overhead cranes/hoists. You will perform FAT/SAT and commissioning, read/design schematics, use AutoCAD Electrical, program PLCs, and design HMI apps (Rockwell/Siemens).

Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally; you will troubleshoot circuit breakers, transformers, motor starters, and inverters, and support startup and field service for 1–2 months at a time.

Competenze

• 4-year Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE/BSEET) or equivalent.
• 5–10 years electrical engineering experience in field startups, wiring, PLC/HMI programming.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical/software engineering at site/office; supervise others and coordinate with the project manager.
• Trouble shoot and update PLC/HMI programs that automate business processes.
• Read/design single line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, interconnect and conduit drawings.
• Calculate wire sizes, drive sizes, transformers, contactors and overload protection for cranes up to 800V DC and 4160V AC.
• Participate in FAT and SAT; solutions/resolutions with cross-functional teams.
• Lead testing at the site to complete SAT and startup.
• Maintain strong customer relations and drive testing/startup efficiency.
• Travel domestically and internationally; durations of 1–2 months in field.
