Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) seeks an experienced engineer to manage moderately scoped projects and contribute to larger initiatives ensuring safe, reliable electric power delivery. You’ll apply engineering practices, oversee studies, and guide contractors while supporting operations with improved standards and processes.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET) with 4+ years of experience, or 3+ with FE/ MS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ABET-accredited with 4+ years of engineering experience, or 3+ with FE, or 3+ with MS.
• FE certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements.

Responsabilités

• Handles all engineering aspects of projects with moderate scope or detailed components of major projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Leads performance, cost, and scheduling studies using conventional and innovative engineering techniques.
• Applies standard and non-standard engineering practices to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Communicates engineering ideas and evaluations effectively to diverse internal audiences.
• Oversees contractors and company personnel, providing technical direction.
