What You’ll Do…

We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven electrical engineer for Design Engineering responsibilities across multiple microgrid projects. The role reports to the Director of Microgrid Engineering and is based in Houston, TX.

You’ll Make An Impact By

• Coordinating technical project aspects and liaising with utilities, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Supporting project goals related to schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Guiding designers and junior engineers, managing technical risks, and supporting sales phases.
• Conducting system assessments and site visits.
• Preparing detailed design packages, including drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Reviewing and supervising third-party engineering work.
• Performing power system studies using AutoCAD and ETAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical and project engineering.
• Knowledge of MV & LV power distribution, NEC, ANSI/NEMA, IEEE standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ETAP.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and team skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
