Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Principal in New Jersey to lead electrical design for diverse projects. You will coordinate engineers across disciplines, develop power, lighting, and life-safety systems, and mentor staff while ensuring code compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems.
Requires PE or professional engineer license recognized by the local licensing board.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers within a multidiscipline team across the project lifecycle.
Establish client relations; participate in marketing, design and production meetings for electrical systems.
Lead electrical on multiple projects and ensure code compliance with applicable agencies.
