Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Testing Technician to lead testing and commissioning of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, utility, and mission-critical environments. You will oversee testing activities, analyze data, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications include 5–8 years of electrical testing experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electrical testing/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line and schematic diagrams.
• Experience with field leadership and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform acceptance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning testing of electrical power equipment and systems.
• Lead field activities on projects and coordinate with customers, PMs, and subcontractors.
• Prepare field reports, test documentation, and technical recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and company procedures.
