Job summary

Meta seeks an Electrical Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, operation, and improvement of electrical infrastructure across its data center portfolio. You will act as the technical authority on high- and medium-voltage systems, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and critical power distribution architectures for Meta's hyperscale infrastructure.

Qualifications

8+ years electrical industry experience or electrical trade level experience.
Bachelor’s degree or trade certification in related field +4+ years relevant experience accepted in lieu of 8+ years.
Experience with critical facility operations and procedure-based work.
Theoretical and practical understanding of power equipment & systems with expertise in design, maintenance, testing, and/or construction.
Working knowledge of mechanical, controls, and fire and life safety systems.
Experience interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings and plans/specifications.

Responsibilities

Serve as onsite technical resource for electrical infrastructure with emphasis on field operation.
Collaborate with local and global partners across engineering, construction and operations.
Contribute to electrical safety program and site risk mitigation.
Plan, author, or approve work procedures for troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance.
Lead root-cause analyses and QA/QC oversight of projects.
Provide training to engineers and cross-functional teams on electrical systems and changes.
Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and retrofit work.
Travel as required for onboarding and ongoing collaboration.
