Job summary

HDR is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer located in Tacoma, Washington, to support natural gas and renewable energy generation projects. In this role, you will lead teams for utility-scale power generation design projects and act as Owner’s Engineer/Advisor.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a minimum of 10 years' experience in the power market sector, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power market sector project execution.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams for utility-scale power generation design projects.
• Design power generation and distribution systems.
• Develop balance-of-plant designs such as raceway and lighting systems.
