HDR is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer in Gig Harbor, Washington, to support natural gas and renewable energy generation projects. The successful candidate will lead design projects while mentoring junior engineers and managing client relationships.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the power market sector. Exceptional skills in designing power generation systems and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power market sector project execution.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license is required.
• Design experience with simple‑cycle and combined‑cycle power generation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility‑scale power generation design projects.
• Perform design work for power plant systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage client relationships.
