Job summary

Tetra Tech's Electrical Engineer - Power (Finance) role is based in our Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, or Billings, MT offices. The position focuses on electrical and power design supporting pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal projects nationwide, with a lead role on multi-disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in Electrical or Power Engineering, preferably with Oil & Gas experience, a PE license, and proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5–10 years of Electrical/Power Engineering experience, Oil & Gas preferred.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Experience with cable/conduit, ETAP, and NFPA 70.
• Construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience.
• Experience with substation design is a plus.
• Experience specifying and procuring electrical equipment.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Pre-employment drug screen and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and power design support for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team.
• Train junior staff and coordinate with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Troubleshoot and manage solo or group projects.
