Teal Energi seeks an Electrical Power Engineer to lead design reviews, ensure design assurance, and coordinate EPC oversight for a major power plant expansion. The role requires strong technical leadership and owner/operator perspective across design, construction, commissioning, and startup stages.

Candidates should have extensive power-generation experience, familiarity with utility interconnections, and a track record of coordinating multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.

Formación

• Minimum 12 years electrical engineering experience, with EPC oversight preferred.
• At least 10 years in electrical project design or operations.
• Recent power-generation design experience required.
• Experience with motors, VFDs, substations, transformers, cables, UPS.
• Experience with interconnection design and plant power management systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NESC, API, IEEE guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Review proposed electrical design concepts and basis of design.
• Coordinate EPC contractor designs with other disciplines.
• Provide electrical studies and equipment data review.
• Support change-order processes and turnover documents.
• Monitor contractor adherence to codes and standards.
• Lead risk assessments and reviews (E-HAZOP/HAZOP).
