Job summary

NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. requires an Electrical Engineer in the Propulsion & Power Engineering Department, Power & Energy Division. You will serve as a subject matter expert for aircraft electrical power and wiring systems and lead technical guidance across programs.

You will participate in SETRs, provide direction to managers and team members, and prepare weekly situational summaries for the Power and Energy Division. Strong leadership and deep technical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in electrical power and wiring components for aircraft systems.
• Experience with power generation, distribution and conversion and power quality analysis.
• Ability to establish workload priorities and manage resources to support acquisition programs.
• Experience guiding and leading division personnel while addressing wiring and power challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Electrical Power and Wiring Systems.
• Provide leadership and authoritative technical advice to program managers and team members.
• Apply advanced concepts and evaluation techniques for aircraft electrical power systems.
• Represent the Navy at technical, governmental and industrial organizations and discuss policy as needed.
• Attend component, subsystem and system SETRs to review programs.
• Create and maintain weekly situational summaries for the Power and Energy Division.
