Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to advance electrical power offerings. Lead load studies, prepare PE‑stampable construction packages, and develop equipment specifications while coordinating with vendors and PMs.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience, AutoCAD and Excel proficiency, and familiarity with NEC/IEEE standards. Travel up to 25% and strong communication skills are expected. Competitive salary and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in development of electrical construction and specification packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical power load studies.
• Lead development of electrical construction packages stamped by PE.
• Develop electrical power specifications for construction packages.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment pricing.
• Perform field verifications and as‑builts of E&I infrastructure.
• Oversee startup and commissioning of electrical power equipment.
• Provide after-hours support for clients.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on progress and budgets.
