Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Development Project Manager - Design & Standards (Senior Electrical Engineer) to provide technical guidance on data center design projects. You will interact with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Vendors to ensure adherence to design standards and local codes while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with substantial experience in electrical design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years in electrical design or construction.
• 3+ years’ experience in electrical power systems design, redundancy, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash.
• 2+ years applying NEC and other electrical industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing packages for adherence to design standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams to meet design standards and local code requirements.
• Define project scope and communicate deviations from standards to the design team.
• Work with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to address RFIs and value engineering queries.
• Collaborate with procurement to review OFCI equipment submittals for compliance with design criteria.
• Support project teams in resolving design issues during construction and commissioning.
• Travel: 25%.
