Job summary

Duro-Last, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope, is seeking a Maintenance Tech 4 to join our team in Saginaw, MI. This full-time, non-exempt position focuses on electrical systems, heavy machinery, and automated controls in our manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with a 4–5 year electrical apprenticeship, a valid journeyman or master electrician license, and at least 5 years in a maintenance role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma followed by a 4- to 5-year electrical apprenticeship.
• Valid state or regional journeyman or master electrician license.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial machinery.
• Able to stand long periods, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with plant operators and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Install complex electrical circuits, wiring, and high-voltage infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quick fault repairs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose wiring errors, motor issues, and sensor failures.
• Maintain PLCs and industrial robotics.
• Follow LOTO and NEC safety standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
