Job summary

Sentien Robotics is expanding production of the Hive platform and related systems. We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Technician to own build quality, provisioning, and deployment readiness on our manufacturing team.

You will assemble electronics, verify conformance, and ensure systems ship configured and ready. You’ll be the electrical POC with engineering, help resolve issues, and guide assembly technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical or electronics assembly in a production environment.
• Strong soldering, crimping, harness build, and rework skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency with bench test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Experience writing work instructions or test procedures.
• Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate cables, wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and electronics assemblies to a high workmanship standard.
• Own electrical inspection and test. Help define acceptance criteria and drive nonconformances to resolution.
• Provision systems before shipment, including software installation, firmware, and configuration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, wiring, firmware, and software issues in production and in the field. Support customer installations as needed, including occasional travel.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, test procedures, and build records as we scale.
• Act as the manufacturing team's point of contact with engineering on electrical issues.
• Provide technical guidance to assembly technicians.
• Support prototype builds and the introduction of new products into production.

About the Role

Sentien Robotics is scaling into low-rate initial production of the Hive platform and related robotic systems. We're looking for a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Technician to own electrical build quality, system provisioning, and deployment readiness on our manufacturing team.

You'll build and integrate the electronics in our systems, verify that every unit meets spec, and make sure each system ships correctly configured and ready to run. As the manufacturing team's electrical point of contact with engineering, you'll help resolve issues quickly and keep production moving. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Manufacturing.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands‑on electrical or electronics assembly in a production environment.
• Strong soldering, crimping, harness build, and rework skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency with bench test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Experience writing work instructions or test procedures.
• Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to Have

• IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, or J-STD-001 experience or certification.
• Experience taking a product from prototype into production.
• Comfort with command-line tools, logs, and diagnostic utilities. Scripting experience is a plus.
• CAD experience (SolidWorks, Onshape, or similar).
• 3D printing experience for fixtures, jigs, and prototype parts.
• Background in robotics or electromechanical systems.

An engineering degree is not required. We care more about what you've built.

Compensation

$95,000 to $115,000 per year, plus benefits.
