Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Belvidere, NJ is seeking a Senior Technician (Electrical) to perform maintenance, preventive and corrective work to support production of chemical intermediates, energies, and finished products in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs and safety requirements.

The role includes diagnosing and repairing VFDs, PLCs, motors, and instrumentation, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing calibrations and testing to ensure process reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years maintenance-related experience.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Fill out and review work permits with operations personnel before starting a job.
• Ensure lockout-tagout procedures are followed.
• Diagnose problems and repair VFDs, PLCs, motors with associated controls.
• Inspect and adjust instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature and level.
• Perform preventative maintenance including calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
