Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in Roanoke or nearby industrial hub. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, safety, and optimal operation of electrical systems across facilities.

You will plan maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor technicians in a hands-on leadership capacity. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in electrical maintenance, 3+ in supervision, and strong knowledge of HV/LV, motor control, PLCs, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical engineering (e.g., Electrician) or N6 qualification.
• 8+ years in electrical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of high and low voltage systems, motor control, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Experience in industrial environments, preferably energy or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent Senior Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead their maintenance team in East London . This role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all electrical systems and equipment within their facilities. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, planning and executing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This hands-on leadership position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the operational stability of vital infrastructure in the Eastern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electrical maintenance technicians , providing guidance and performance management.
