Barge Design Solutions,Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead design teams across multidisciplinary projects.

Location could be any office location. You will drive electrical system design for diverse facilities including water treatment and data centers, while managing scope, schedule and budget and mentoring junior engineers. Excellent technical problem solving, client interaction, and construction administration skills are required to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions and

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BSEE in Electrical Engineering is required.
PE license is required.
10+ years of related experience in electrical engineering.
NCEES Record is a strong plus.
Experience with manufacturing facilities, data centers, or water treatment.
Proficient with AutoCAD and/or BIM (3D) software.
Experience with AGI 32 Lighting Analysis.
Experience with SKM Power Tools.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Electrical lead for design projects in a multi-discipline environment.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
Provide technical design expertise to projects and develop solutions.
Design facility electrical systems for diverse facilities (water treatment, data centers, commercial, institutional, federal).
Design grounding, power, lighting and system plans and specifications.
Prepare calculations and analyses of electrical systems.
Review work for quality and mentor early career staff.
Lead meetings with clients and interact with project teams and clients.
Perform construction administration including submittal reviews and site visits.
