Job summary

KBR, Inc seeks a Senior Electrical Lead to guide the electrical discipline on major EPC projects in a leadership capacity. You will direct engineers and designers, set engineering standards, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure project success.

The role requires a strong communication ability, travel to sites and factories, and extensive experience in electrical engineering leadership within EPC environments.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years related experience; typically 20+ years.
• PE or P.Eng. registration required.
• Domestic and possibly some international travel to job sites and supplier factories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Lead

Title: Senior Electrical Lead At KBR, We Deliver. KBR ISA (Integrated Solutions Americas) delivers integrated, end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction management services to the refining, LNG, midstream, chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, power, and industrial infrastructure sectors. Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.

KBR is seeking Senior Electrical Lead The Senior Electrical Lead for large projects.

Under broad direction, supervises, leads, and sets the technical standards for a group of engineers and designers. Conducts various aspects of performance management such as performance appraisal or counseling of employees with behavior or technical performance problems and assists in the interviewing, hiring, and assignment of new personnel in the discipline. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical leadership for the electrical discipline on major EPC projects.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years related experience, with an average experience of twenty (20+) years.
• PE or P.Eng. registration required.
• Domestic and possibly some international travel to visit jobsites and supplier factories.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Preferred Education & Skills:

• SmartPlant Electrical experience
• Electrical power system studies experience with OTI ETAP and SKM Power*Tools.
• Experience leading projects with home office Electrical budgets of 100,000+ hours
