Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician based near Raleigh, NC to support development and testing of next-generation MV-SST and 3-phase UPS products. You will install equipment, perform tests, collect data, and prepare reports while maintaining rigorous safety standards in a high-power lab environment.

The role requires an Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics and at least 3 years in a lab or technical support role, with hands-on experience in high-voltage

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics required.
• 3+ years in an engineering lab, validation, test, manufacturing, or technical support.
• Experience with electrical systems and electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment & instrumentation for evaluation of power systems products.
• Perform product testing to industry standards.
• Use computer-based test equipment for recording and analysis of test data.
• Organize test data and prepare test reports.
• Fabricate, modify and repair electronic assemblies and related hardware.
• Test lab maintenance and organization.
