Job summary

6AM City, LLC seeks a senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to lead complete design efforts on complex projects in our Los Angeles area office. This role emphasizes extensive electrical and instrumentation design, adherence to NEC, and on-site startup support.

You will guide drafting staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions. A minimum of 6 years in industrial electrical/instrumentation engineering is required; PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
• Professional Engineering registration preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical design standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify complete electrical and instrumentation systems for complex projects.
• Lead a discipline on small to mid-sized projects and guide drafting staff.
• Produce design calculations, diagrams and layouts for construction.
• Coordinate work with other engineering disciplines and project teams.
• Provide on-site startup support and troubleshooting as needed.
