Form Energy in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support electrical prototype builds and test equipment within the Product Engineering organization. You will fabricate and troubleshoot wire harnesses and electrical assemblies for battery systems and prototypes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building electrical systems and wire harnesses.
• Experience fabricating prototype hardware and testing equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety in electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wire harnesses for prototypes and test assets.
• Assemble and modify harnesses from schematics and CAD.
• Select and install correct wires, connectors, seals, and labels.
• Perform wire cutting, crimping, soldering, and routing.
• Inspect harnesses with continuity and resistance tests.
• Support prototype builds with soldering and PCBA rework.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve harness designs.
