Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field-based Electrical General Foreman to contribute to the construction of solar fields and support the electrical scope on site in Texas. The role involves hands-on installation, splicing, testing, and trenching activities across DC and MV systems.

The ideal candidate has experience on solar construction projects, strong teamwork and safety focus, and can train others in underground work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Strong teamwork, safety, and communication skills.
• Experience on solar construction projects preferred.
• Able to train others on underground aspects.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install DC trench, MV trench, and MV cables.
• Perform SCADA equipment install and associated terminations.
• Oversee labeling, fiber termination, and test activities (PD, IV, IR, VOC).
• Conduct field decisions and reporting; maintain Production Tracking.
• Lead training for others on underground work and safety procedures.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with exposure to construction hazards.
