Citation Oil & Gas Corp. seeks an Electrical Foreman to lead electrical operations in our Texas field sites. The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, coordinating third‑party services, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Candidate will oversee maintenance, manage vendor pricing, and monitor costs while driving production efficiency. Travel to multiple field locations and ability to respond to outages are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industry schools completed as scheduled by Citation.
• Safety and regulatory training completed as scheduled by Citation.
• Must pass pulmonary function test and fit test.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, and maintains electrical equipment in the region to ensure safe, profitable operations.
• Operates in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Repairs equipment and oversees third‑party services when needed.
• Diagnoses problems with Citation’s electrical equipment within the Region.
• Recommends improvements to supervisor.
• Maintains vendor pricing awareness to ensure best value for Citation.
• Maintains relationships with electrical power company representatives.
• Evaluates operations to increase production and lower costs.
• Monitors monthly electrical bills and reports discrepancies.
• Sign and date field tickets for all electrical work.

Responsibilities

This is the third level of Electrical Foreman expertise.

• Designs, installs, and maintains all electrical equipment and installations in the Region to ensure that all operations are safe, profitable, and efficient.
• Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
• Makes repairs as required and oversees third-party services when necessary to utilize.
• Diagnose problems with all of Citation’s electrical equipment within the Region.
• Recommends improvements to supervisor.
• Familiarity with prices of goods and services from all available vendors in the region to ensure Citation receives the best value.
• Maintain working relationships with representatives of electrical power companies.
• Evaluate company operations in an effort to increase production by eliminating electrical downtime and lower operating costs.
• Monitors monthly electrical bills and reports any discrepancies to Region Superintendent.
• Sign and date field tickets related to all electrical work.

Qualifications

• High School education or G.E.D.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Foreman.
• Employment is contingent upon wearing all types of breathing air equipment and passing a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
• Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
• Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Job duties involve working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Involves climbing up stairways 20 ft. in height while wearing a breathing apparatus.
• Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools, and wearing breathing air equipment.
• Lifting, pushing & pulling are required during the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Must be able to travel long distances between locations and offices and must maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be available at unpredictable hours to respond to storms and other large outages.
