Job summary

Citation seeks to recruit highly qualified individuals to join our team as Lease Operator Level 2. You will operate and maintain wells and associated equipment on an assigned route, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

You will monitor production, document tests, and report changes to the Production Foreman while coordinating with third party services as needed. High school/GED required and strict safety training completion is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School education or G.E.D.
• Employment contingent upon wearing all types of breathing air equipment, pass pulmonary function test and a fit test.
• Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
• Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains all wells and equipment on assigned route in a safe, compliant manner.
• Performs repairs as required and oversees third party services when necessary.
• Monitors and records oil, water, and gas production and reports changes to the Production Foreman.
• Conducts routine maintenance on well and production facility equipment.
• Reports problems, including leaks/spills, to the Production Foreman and carries out repairs as required.
• Understands chemical programs on assigned leases and monitors chemical usage.
• Is aware of the location and operating pressures of flow lines and injection lines, including lines owned by others on Citation's leases.
• Keeps well sites and facilities clean and free of trash.
• Records monthly oil well tests and reports results to the Production Foreman.
• Shoots fluid levels on wells as directed by Production Foreman; operates downhole and surface production equipment.

Responsibilities

• This is the 2 nd level of lease operator expertise. Operates and maintains all wells and equipment on assigned route. Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
• Makes repairs as required and oversees third party services when necessary to utilize.
• Accurately monitors and records the oil, water, and gas production from assigned leases and reports any changes to the Production Foreman.
• Performs routine maintenance on well and production facility equipment.
• Reports problems (Including leaks/spills) to the Production Foreman and repairs as required.
• Clear understanding of chemical programs on assigned leases and monitors chemical usage.
• Knowledgeable of the location and operating pressures of all flow lines and injection lines and is also familiar with any lines owned and operated by other companies on Citation's leases.
• Keeps well sites and facilities free of trash.
• Accurately tests wells on each lease on a monthly basis. Maintains written records of tests and reports them to the Production Foreman.
• Shoots fluid levels on wells as directed by Production Foreman.
• Knowledge in operating of all downhole and surface production equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Job duties require working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Climbing stairs 20ft in height while wearing breathing apparatus.
• Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools and wearing breathing air equipment.
• Lifting up to 50lbs, pushing and pulling required.
