Job summary

Norlee Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead residential electrical crews on site, ensuring safety, scheduling, and budget adherence. You will coordinate materials, review drawings, and enforce NEC standards while mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license required.
• 5–7 years electrical experience, with prior leadership or foreman experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems and installations.
• Thorough understanding of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with basic technology (smartphones, tablets, timekeeping, and reporting tools).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on assigned job sites.
• Plan and schedule work activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Read, interpret, and enforce electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct daily job briefings, safety talks, and toolbox meetings.
• Monitor productivity, quality of workmanship, and crew performance; provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Order, track, and manage materials, tools, and equipment to avoid delays or waste.
• Review job progress and report labor hours, material usage, and job status accurately and timely.
• Identify potential issues or change conditions and communicate them promptly to management.
