Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in high-reliability military avionics hardware. The role focuses on embedded control modules, FPGA/microprocessor firmware, and interfaces for solenoids, motors, and sensors, with C/C++/HDL development.

Qualifications

Minimum BSEE, CS, or CE and 8+ years in relevant development (military or aviation).
End-to-end FPGA and embedded controller firmware development with V&V.
Fluent English, strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Decompose system requirements to electronic subsystem requirements.
Define design architecture and I/O for embedded electronics (LRU).
Design high reliability PCB and BOMs for ECU and modules.
Schematic capture, component selection and BOM generation.
Simulate/analyze circuits with LTSpice, Qspice, etc.
PCB layout, DFM packaging, HW assembly oversight.
Define test requirements and perform V&V testing.
Prepare design/test documentation and support reviews.
