Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced field service technician to test, inspect, and troubleshoot LV, MV and HV switchgear across Tennessee and the Southeast. The role involves commissioning new equipment and supporting outages and emergencies.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years of field testing experience, NETA certification, and a strong commitment to safety (LOTO, arc flash, NFPA 70E). Expect travel up to 50% and a company truck with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of field testing experience.
• Solid safety habits: LOTO, arc flash and NFPA 70E.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot LV, MV and HV switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays and cable.
• Perform NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, and document results.
• Commission new equipment and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor Level I/II techs on site.
