Job summary

SoBro Construction in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a General Superintendent to lead our electrical division's field operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees crews, schedules, and field performance, aligning with ownership to drive margin and quality on commercial and industrial projects.

You will work in-person, manage manpower, uphold OSHA/NEC standards, and translate plans and specs into on-site results. Oregon Journeyman license required; WA credentials a plus.

Qualifications

• Oregon Journeyman Electrician license is required.
• Experience leading multiple crews on commercial/industrial electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of plans, specs and electrical code.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across the electrical division, including crews and scheduling.
• Plan manpower and develop the field team.
• Ensure site safety and code compliance (OSHA, NEC, state rules).
• Provide technical authority on methods and constructability in the field.
• Conduct job walks, site assessments, and pre-construction planning.
• Contribute to estimating with constructability, labor, and methods insights.
