Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Field Services to plan, execute, and deliver electrical service projects from quote handoff through completion. You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Field Service, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will lead field teams, review drawings, manage scope, costs, and schedule, and serve as the primary customer contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in project management or project engineering.
• PMP or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution: switchgear, MCC, ATS, transformers, UPS, generators, and controls.
• Experience leading field teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, NETA standards, and commissioning processes.
• Strong Excel and project forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver service projects from quote handoff through completion.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Field Service, subcontractors, and customers to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, and resources; serve as primary customer contact.
• Lead field installation, startup, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Review customer requirements and engineering documentation for accurate execution.
• Monitor QA/QC, safety reviews, and compliance throughout projects.
• Provide regular progress updates, risk mitigation, and change control.
• Track andForecast costs, margins, and billing milestones.
