Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking Senior Field Service Technicians in Houston, TX to inspect, test and troubleshoot electrical power systems. The role involves supervising trainees and technicians, coordinating project tasks, and delivering accurate field reports.

Travel about 50% is expected while maintaining safety, compliance with NFPA70E and NETA standards, and delivering high-quality electrical testing services to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical testing experience.
• Experience leading teams on projects.
• Familiar with NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Standards and NFPA70E.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.
• Clean driving record and drug-free.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on electrical systems.
• Supervise Trainees, Assistants, and Technicians in testing duties.
• Coordinate testing across technicians to ensure consistency.
• Track scope, communicate with management, and document results.
• Maintain, test, repair, and replace low/medium/high-voltage equipment.
• Assist in sales as the technical expert in electrical testing and maintenance.
