Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of substation estimating experience.
• Requires conceptual estimating skills.
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with scheduling and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary estimate plan and assess ability to meet RFP dates.
• Independently identify scope of work and perform specificity, quantity, and cost takeoff.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Perform conceptual estimates when detailed design information is unavailable.
• Solicit pricing from material vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure estimates are complete and organized for management review.
• Develop project schedules for timely completion.
• Coordinate with production team on successful bids.
