Job summary

Conti LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to lead preconstruction and project execution within our Industrial Electrical Group in Michigan. This role focuses on developing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical construction, estimating, project management, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Electrical Project Management and Estimating experience.
• Experience managing industrial electrical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, construction practices, project controls, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates by reviewing project drawings, specifications, bid documents, and customer requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Analyze project scope and identify potential risks, gaps, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Resolve discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information from project stakeholders.
• Prepare competitive proposals and bid packages utilizing estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, or similar platforms.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and project requirements to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness.
