Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator in Brea to lead estimates for complex commercial and multifamily electrical projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, bid documents, and project requirements while collaborating with operations and preconstruction teams to produce competitive proposals.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with major estimating software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating best practices.
• Experience preparing estimates for projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop conceptual budgets, design-build estimates, and value engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations teams during bid development and project handoff.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
• Support business development efforts by helping secure new projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Orange County market to identify an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support the pursuit and delivery of complex commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.

• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material pricing, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial, multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, mission-critical, industrial, or mixed-use electrical construction.
• Experience with design-build, negotiated, and hard-bid projects.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, preconstruction services, and value engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
