Barts Electric in the Kansas City, MO area is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead the estimation process for complex, high-value projects. You will review plans and bid documents, develop detailed cost estimates, and ensure accuracy for bids and forecasts.

You will mentor junior estimators, collaborate with project managers and suppliers, and refine processes to improve profitability. A Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering with 7–10 years of experience is required.

Formación

• 7–10 years of cost estimation experience on large-scale projects.
• Proficient in cost estimation methods and software.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review bid proposals to align with client specs.
• Analyze blueprints, specs, and documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Assess labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs and integrate into estimates.
• Lead and mentor junior estimators and support staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to refine estimates and adjust for project variables.
• Present and defend estimates to clients with clear explanations and justifications.
• Stay updated on market conditions and best practices to improve estimation accuracy.
