Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking an Estimator IV to support project management by delivering high-quality electrical estimates.

This senior role oversees the estimating team, performs takeoffs, and trains others for accurate bid packages across multiple markets, including remote work options. The position emphasizes collaboration with PMs and contractors and requires strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS preferred.
• Seven years electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial/high tech.
• Experience with design-build contracting is preferred.
• U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage estimating team to deliver timely, accurate electrical estimates.
• Perform estimating takeoffs on projects.
• Provide leadership and training to estimators and trainees.
• Conduct estimating system training for estimators and project managers.
• Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build.
• Maintain and upgrade estimating system, database, and assemblies.
• Coordinate with project managers and general contractors to ensure quality estimates.
• Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors.
