Job summary

Structure Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator for complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects nationwide. The role offers remote, hybrid, or on-site work in Indianapolis, Denver, or Charlotte with an established contractor licensed in many states.

The ideal candidate has several years of electrical estimating experience, strong drawing interpretation, and proficiency with takeoff software.

Qualifications

Several years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
Proficiency with electrical estimating and takeoff software.

Responsibilities

Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope.
Prepare detailed electrical estimates encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Complete accurate quantity takeoffs and develop comprehensive bid packages.
Solicit, evaluate, and level vendor and subcontractor proposals.
Identify project risks, scope gaps, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
Collaborate with preconstruction, engineering, operations, project leadership, and business-development teams.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, scope reviews, and estimate turnover meetings.
Manage multiple estimates and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Support projects from initial pursuit through final proposal and handoff to operations
